Basic Operations for Image Creation
Selecting the Next Transition
In a transition you can change between the two backgrounds, or insert or
remove either of the keys, or carry out any of these operations
simultaneously. The following figures illustrate some possible effects.
Background transition
A background transition switches from the currently selected background A
(old video) to background B (new video).
Background transition
In bus flip-flop mode, a background transition always proceeds from
background A to background B, and at the end of the transition the signal
selections on the two background buses flip-flop. This means that except
during a transition it is always background A which feeds the output of each
of the mix/effects banks.
