Serial line 1 (COM1) is used to communicate with the Operating Panel.
Ethernet line 1 (LAN1) is used to communicate with the Motor Control Unit.

selected, the list is not used. Information is only imported from the chosen
sensor. All other sensors are ignored.

to save the settings and close the parameter dialog box.

menu.
Setting up the input from a Simrad trawl system
A trawl system can be connected to the SC90. The connection is made using a serial
or LAN (Ethernet) port on the Processor Unit. For any sensor interface to work, the
communication parameters must be set up correctly.
Prerequisites
The SC90 is turned on, and it is working normally. The new sensor is physically
connected to the SC90 using a serial or network cable. It is switched on and in normal
operation. Neither tools nor instruments are required.
This procedure assumes that:
• You are familiar with NMEA and other relevant datagram formats.
• You know how to set up the parameters for serial and local area network (LAN)
communication.
