(1) Lens reference position adjustment
In this machine, the reference value for each lens characteristic must
be inputted. (This value is used to determine the lens home position.)
This adjustment must be performed in the following cases:
•
When the lens is replaced.
•
When the mirror base is replaced or its installation position is
shifted.
•
When the main PWB is replaced.
•
When self diag U2 occurs.
(Procedure) Execute simulation 48-01A.

When the above key operation is performed, the LCD shows the
following display, and the previously set value or "46" is displayed on
the copy quantity display.
SIMULATION NO. 48-1
INPUT_A (26~66)
Enter the value of [O.L] (variation in the distance between the original
and the lens) specified on the label which is located at A in the figure
at the right. Then input the obtained value from the formula and press
PSW to store it.
46 – [(O.L. value)
×
5] = Corrected reference value
(Example) When the O.L. value is 1.2;
46 – (1.2
×
5) = 40 Input value
(2) No. 4/5 mirror reference position adjustment
Similarly to the lens reference adjustment, a value based on the lens
characteristics must be entered. (It is used to determine the No. 4/5
mirror home position.)
This adjustment must be performed in the following cases:
•
When the lens is replaced.
•
When the mirror base is replaced or its installation position is
shifted.
•
When the main PWB is replaced.
•
When self diag U2 occurs.
(Procedure) Execute simulation 48-01d.
