When the sub code is entered, the drum motor rotates for 3
minutes to stir the developing unit and monitor the toner den-
sity sensor value 16 times. Then the average value is stored as
the adjustment value.
During rotation of the drum motor, the toner density sensor
output value is displayed on the LCD.
When an abnormal input of the sensor value occurs, it is
judged as "EU" (Under toner) or "EL" (Over toner) trouble and
the adjustment value is not stored.
