10. Centering the paper
The paper tray is adjusted at the factory, so there should be no need
to center the copy paper yourself. If such an adjustment is neces-
sary, however, follow the procedures described below.
Make a copy. If it comes out off center as shown in either figure 1 or
figure 2 below, gently pull out the paper tray as far as it will go.
Next, loosen the two securing screws (a) holding the tray lock in place
and the eight securing screws (b) on the left and right sides holding
the tray cover unit to the frame, then follow one of the procedures
described below to center the paper.

When copies come out off center as shown in figure 1
Move the tray lock in direction A the same number of millimeters
as the paper is off center, tighten first the two "a" securing screws
then the eight "b" securing screws, then make another copy to
check whether the copies come out properly centered.

Move the tray lock in direction B the same number of millimeters
as the paper is off center, tighten first the two "a" securing screws
then the eight "b" securing screws, then make another copy to
check whether the copies come out properly centered.
