[7] DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY
1. Process unit
Major parts: Photoconductor drum, toner receiver, BL PWB unit, dis-
charge lamp unit, cleaning blade, drum marking sensor
PWB, separation solenoid, separation pawl, process
control sensor PWB, process volume PWB
Disassembly procedures

Open the front cover, remove the main charger unit, and remove
the developing unit and the transfer/separation charger from the
process unit.

Loosen three screws (blue), and remove the process unit from the
copier body.

Loosen one screw (blue), and remove the process cover.
4
Loosen four screws (blue), and separate the upper and the lower
sections of the process unit from each other.
5
Release the cleaning blade pressure with the cleaning blade
release arm.
6
Loosen two screws (blue), and turn the drum positioning plate
counterclockwise to remove.

Remove the photoconductor drum upward.
