Checking the PTT relay

1.

Check the PTT relay for continuity.
Replace if out of specification.

NOTE:

Be sure to set the measurement range 

a

when checking for continuity.

Connect the light green (Lg) lead to the
positive battery terminal and the terminal

 lead to the negative battery terminal

as shown.

3.

Check for continuity between terminals

. Replace the PTT relay if there

is no continuity.

Connect the sky blue (Sb) lead to the
positive battery terminal and the terminal

Check for continuity between terminals
