10. Loosen the pipe joints

remove the pipe joint at end

11. Install the special service tools.

NOTE:

Put the PTT unit in the drain pan.

12. Connect the PTT motor leads to the bat-

tery terminals to extend the trim rams,
and then measure the hydraulic pres-
sure.

13. Reverse the PTT motor leads between

the battery terminals to fully retract the
rams.

14. Remove the special service tools.

15. Install the pipe joints

, and then tight-

ening them to the specified torque.

16. After measuring the hydraulic pressure,

connect the PTT motor leads to the bat-
tery terminals to fully extend the trim and
tilt rams.
