14. Install the new gasket and oil filter
bracket, and then tighten the bolts in the
sequence shown.
NOTE:
Apply engine oil to the oil filter bracket bolts
before installation.
15. Supply engine oil to the oil passage
r
of
the oil filter bracket.
16. Install the oil filter, and then tighten it to
the specified torque using a 72.5 mm
(2.9 in) oil filter wrench.
NOTE:
Apply a thin coat of engine oil to the O-ring of
the new oil filter before installation.
17. Fasten the cooling water hose

, vapor
gas hoses, and check valve

using the
holder as shown.
18. Install the cooling water passage cover
and cylinder heads.
NOTE:
To install the cooling water passage cover
and cylinder heads, see
“ Installing the cool-
ing water passage cover ” and “ Installing the
cylinder head. ”
