INSTALLATION

Provide the user information and click [Next].

From 3 features below, select the features that you want to install, and click [Next].

[Database server that you are installing to:] Provide the server address of the computer that has installed

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. If you have followed the onscreen instructions to install Microsoft
SQL Server 2005 Express Edition, it will be installed on the same computer without any instance. If this is the
case, select [(local)]. If you have created an instance (SQLEXPRESS instance) during installation, provide
“(local)\instance name”, or “(local)\SQLEXPRESS”. Check the [SQL Server authentication using the Login ID
and password below] option. [Login ID:]You must enter nothing else but “sa” in the input box.
[Password:]Provide the password that you have speciﬁ ed when installing MICROSOFT SQL SERVER 2005
EXPRESS EDITION. Click [Next].

This step is not applicable to the installation of SAMS Pro Lite.
