Manual Operation of the R&S FSQ with XP Remote Desktop

Quick Start Guide 1313.9652.62 - 02

After a few moments, the screen of the R&S FSQ will appear on the controller's screen with 
the prompt for you to log on. To enable remote control of the R&S FSQ, do the following:

➢

Enter “instrument” as the 

user name

 and “894129” as the 

password

.

After a few moments, the R&S FSQ screen will appear.

If the R&S FSQ application appears on screen immediately after connection setup, 
shutdown and restart are not necessary.
If a dark screen appears or a dark square appears in the upper left-hand corner of the 
screen, you must restart the R&S FSQ in order to see the modified screen resolution:

As of firmware version 4.6x, the default username is “instrument” with
the password “894129”.
As of firmware version 4.4x, the default username is “instrument” with
the password “123456”.
Prior to firmware version 4.4x, the default username and password
were both“instrument”.
