6.7.3 Configuring the Controller

Before Remote Desktop can be operated, the TCP/IP protocol must be created on the
controller and Remote Desktop Client must be installed.

The settings on the Remote Desktop Client of the controller must be made before the
connection with the R&S FSQ is set up. The procedure is as follows:

 - Communications - Remote Desktop Connection.

The Remote Desktop login screen will appear.

The table with the configuration data will appear.

These settings are used to select and optimize the connection speed.

With Windows XP, Remote Desktop Client is part of the operating
system and can be accessed via

Remote Desktop Connection

For other versions of Windows, Microsoft offers the Remote Desktop
Client as an add-on.
