E-Stop Performance
When an emergency stop is performed, the power is cut to the arm at the motor level, and the robot
stops wherever it is in the task. To assess the performance of the E-Stop, two metrics have been
analyzed, settling time and overshoot.
Settling Time - The settling time is defined to be the steady state time minus the time at which the
E-Stop was triggered.
