Component Removal/Installation
3. Remove the two screws that hold the PCB to the power supply shroud,
then remove the DC/DC converter PCB.

Power Supply
WARNING:
The power supply generates high voltage. To avoid personal injury, verify that
the AC and external DC power sources are disconnected from the ventilator.
Follow these steps to remove the power supply (Figure 9-14, Figure 9-15,
Figure 9-16):
1. Remove the top enclosure (see “Top Enclosure” on page 9-4).
2. Remove the power supply shroud (see “Power Supply Fan/Shroud” on
3. Unscrew terminal block screws on power supply connector TB1 and
disconnect these wires: brown (pin 1), blue (pin 2), and green (pin 4).
4. Unscrew terminal blockscrews on power supply connector TB2 and
disconnect these wires: red (pin 1) and thin black (pin 4).
Do not
remove the thin black ground wire from TB3 pin 3.
5. Unscrew terminal block screws on power supply connector TB3 and
disconnect these wires: red (pin 1) and thin black (pin 4).
Do not
remove the thin black ground wire from TB2 pin 3.
6. Use a 4-mm Allen wrench to remove the eight M5x12 screws that
secure the power supply to the top enclosure.
