Features of Branching Topology
In a configuration that consists of only a line/daisy chain topology, if a slave is disconnected due to a
broken cable or other reason, all slaves after the disconnected slave are also disconnected from the
network. If you configure a network with the branching topology, you can reduce the disconnected
slaves to only those in a branched path.
