Precautions for Correct Use
To access the I/O devices variable values of a slave after you disable or enable the slave, you
need to check the validity of the process data. Refer to
6-1-3 Checking Validity of Process Data
on page 6-6 for how to check the validity of the process data.

Relation between Operation and the Slave Information at a Disabled Slave
If the actual network configuration has a slave in a position of a slave set to Disable (or disabled
slave), the slave operation depends on the slave information. The operation differs by the result of
comparison between the slave information of the disabled slave and the slave information of the
slave on the actual network configuration. The table below gives the operation of the disabled
slave.
