Setting the Node Address from the Sysmac Studio
Use the Sysmac Studio to set the node address if there are no hardware switches or the node address
is beyond the range that can be set with the hardware switches.
Setting Procedure

Start the Sysmac Studio and go online with the Controller.

Double-click
EtherCAT
under
Configurations and Setup
on the Multiview Explorer. Or, right-
click
EtherCAT
under
Configurations and Setup
and select
Edit
.

Right-click the EtherCAT master that is displayed in the EtherCAT Tab Page and select
Write
Slave Node Address
.
The Slave Node Address Writing Dialog Box is displayed.

the dialog box is not displayed.
