Using Message Strings (Trend)
Arbitrary character strings can be registered. They can be displayed on the trend
display and stored along with the display/event data.
• Number of messages : 8
• Number of characters : Up to 16 alphanumeric characters
A list of messages can be displayed on the message summary screen. See section 4.5.
For models with the batch function (/BT1 option), messages 1, 2, and 3 can be altered
from the operation screen to be used.
Procedure
Displaying a message on the trend display/writing a message to the internal
memory
This operation is carried out in the operation mode.
1.
Press the FUNC key to display the soft keys.
2.
Press the [Message] soft key. Eight soft keys for the messages and a window
containing a list of messages are displayed.
3.
Press the soft key corresponding to the message you wish to display. A
message mark, time, and the message are displayed on the trend display.
Note
Messages can be displayed on the trend display and written into the internal memory along
with the display data file and the event data file while data acquisition is in progress.
