REPLACE CARTRIDGE
First, remove the toner cartridge and gently tilt it from side
to side five or six times to redistribute the remaining toner.
Reinsert it in your unit, then take a test copy. If the copy does
not print normally, replace the toner cartridge.

START AGAIN
A transmission error occurred because the line is poor. Try
again from the beginning. The paper jammed or ran out
during the printing of a report. Remove the jammed paper or
replenish the paper. Then try again from the beginning.

THERE IS PAPER ON PLATEN
A document that has already been sent or copied remains on

the platen glass. Remove the document and try again.
TRANSMITTING…
During the current transmission, your unit may try to send a
document identified from the list of documents in memory.
Resend that document when transmission of the first
document is complete. This message appears if you try to
send a document using direct sending while already sending
another document from memory. Wait until the transmission
from memory is completed, then resend the document you
were trying to send using direct sending. (

USER ACCESS LOCK
The unit is set to prohibit sending or printing. To disable the
user restriction function, set the user restriction sending
setting or user restriction printing setting to
OFF
.
