ECM receiving
ECM RX
The unit is set to conduct all receptions using
ECM (Error Correction Mode). If reception
speed appears to be extremely slow, you may be
able to speed up reception time by turning ECM
off. (

Manual receiving
REMOTE RX
To start receiving a fax manually by answering
with extension phone
a telephone connected to the unit, dial 25. You
can change this number or set the unit to start
receiving after hanging up the handset of the
phone. (

Memory receiving
MEMORY RX
If paper or toner runs out while you are
receiving a long document, the remainder of the
document will be stored in the memory until
you refill the paper cassette or replace the toner
cartridge. You can also set an alarm to sound
when the unit starts receiving a document in
memory. (

Printing: Footer on
RX PAGE FOOTER
The unit will not print a footer on every
printed documents
document received unless you turn this feature

Receiving password
RX PASSWORD
No receiving password is set until you set one.
If the other party regularly sends you
documents with only an ITU-T password and
no subaddress, set the
RX PASSWORD
.

Restricting use:
RX RESTRICTION
The unit is set to receive all incoming
Stopping junk mail
documents. You can restrict receiving to only
numbers registered on your unit for speed
dialling. (
