[32] Margin shift on the back side
The default value for the 'Margin shift' template is 10 mm (1/2 inch) for the
front and the back side of the paper.
How to define the margin shift for a 1-sided or 2-sided original

Put the originals in the reading direction and face down into the automatic
document feeder.

Adjust the original guides or put your 1-sided original on the glass plate.

Select the template 'Margin shift'.

Press the key for 'Print '.

Select 'Layout'.

If your document is not in the automatic document feeder in reading direction
or if the print document type is not the same as the original document type,
adjust the 'Document type' setting.

Select 'Margin shift'.

Use the arrow keys to change the margin shift. Remember that you must shift
the margin on front and back side for 2-sided prints. (see ‘Erase the margin’
on page 81) for complete information on the use of the arrow keys.
Stopping a Job
Stop scanning
Introduction
You can stop a scan job with the correction key ( ) on the operator panel. If
you press the correction key, the scanning will stop after the scan station has
processed the originals that are already separated from the automatic document
feeder.
A message with two options is displayed.

'Cancel' the job
■
'Resume' the job.
