How to handle contradictions
Introduction
There are three types of contradictions that you can face on the Océ VarioPrint
2105.
■
Spec contradictions
A spec contradiction is a contradiction you can get when you define settings
for a new job. An example of a spec contradiction: you want to make a
2-sided scan from the glass plate (not possible, change original 2-sided into
1-sided).

Start contradictions
The start contradictions are the contradictions that occur when the required
resources for a job are not available. An alarm bell is displayed. This alarm
bell can indicate that a certain resource is not available (no staples, toner,
paper type not available, etc).
If you get a start contradiction, open the 'Job queue manager' to see the
warning in detail.
(When the system setting 'Workflow' is set to 'Keep sequence' and the job
gets active or current, the start contradiction becomes a run-time
contradiction. You must take action to solve the contradiction).

Run-time contradictions
A run-time contradiction occurs when the system runs out of required
resources (no staples, toner, paper type not available, etc) while the job is
active. The active or current job stops. The screen will show a message.
How to correct a spec contradiction
