A
1 - Close STO1 and STO2 to enable the drive. HMI displays “ Ready ”
2- Give run command to start Autotune sequence. HMI displays « Autotune » during the sequence and reverts
to « Ready” once completed
3- Open Run command when sequence is completed
Application is ready to be operated
Parameter settings are automatically memorized in drive control board. However it is possible to make a copy in
the HMI using procedure described in paragraph 2.2.3.3

• This quick start procedure will provide optimum level of performance for most of the applications. However it may happen, in
some few configurations with PM motors, that settings require to be optimized (for example in the case of high load/motor inertia
ratio) some instabilities may be experienced with default settings). For those cases, parameters Spd.09 & Spd.10 may be used
to tune the system
• To help supervising the behavior of the motor during tuning, the MDX-SOFT PC tool can be used with a laptop connected to the
USB port available on the drive front door (MD2) or on the control board terminal (FX). Use the “Chart” feature of MDX-SOFT to
supervise the speed reference (
