AHMS: Assignment of Music on Hold Data
1. General
This command is used when a trunk provides extended hold music. The data for accommodation of extended
hold music source (LENS of DAT card), trunk route to which hold music to be sent out, and Tenant Number
are assigned by this command.
2. Precautions
1.
The following two types of setting for extended hold music are provided; a) Extended Hold Music and b)
Multiple Music-On-Hold. Excepting for the case of normal Extended Hold Music has been already speci-
fied, usually set to the Multiple Music-On-Hold service.

It is required to assign the system data before assigning this command. (This command is invalid when the
system data has not been assigned.)
a.) For Extended Hold Music
ASYD, SYS1, INDEX42, b3 = 1 (Extended Hold Music is in service)
ASYD, SYS1, INDEX251, b7 = 0 (Multiple Music-On-Hold is out of service)
b.) For Multiple Music-On-Hold
ASYD, SYS1, INDEX42, b3 = 0 (Extended Hold Music is out of service)
ASYD, SYS1, INDEX251, b7 = 1 (Multiple Music-On-Hold is in service)

The displayed parameter differs depending on the System data and selected TYPE/KIND in this command.
See the table below for the required setting and range of data in each service.
Note 1:
When “Extended Hold Music” is assigned in system data, “TYPE = 1” must be set.
Note 2:
When
“Extended Hold Music” is assigned in system data, “KIND = 2” must be set.
Note 3:
Assign the LENS of DAT card used as the hold music source.

The DAT card accommodation should be assigned by the ATRK command.
5.
The applicable tenant number (TN) range is designated by the ASYD command, SYS 1, INDEX 8.
