Setting of cleaning while printing
It is set whether head cleaning is performed automatically during printing.
In cleaning during printing, a cleaning interval is set according to the length of a printed media.
Printing is interrupted each time a media is printed for the set length, and head cleaning is performed
automatically during the interval.
After the cleaning, printing restarts.

Press the key in LOCAL.

Press the key.

Press to select one of the types (1 to 4) and press the key.

Press to select [Auto Cleaning].

Press the key.

Press to select [During Printing].

Press the key.

Press to select “ON”.
• When selecting OFF, proceed to Step 18.

Set the cleaning method when you print repeatedly using copy
function of RIP you use.
• To prevent the head from being damaged, be sure to use it making the cleaning during printing to
“ON” when you print for a long time.
• When you wish to perform cleaning during printing, start printing after wipe off ink adhering to the
head and around wiper. If you perform cleaning without wiping ink off, the nozzle status may be
worsened.
• In the case of a fabric liable to be extended or shrunk with moisture, the fabric could be extended or
shrunk while being printed and when the printing is restarted misalignment or change of color tone
could be found. In such cases, turn the setting to OFF or select the cleaning type "Soft".
