If printing is terminated due to media feeding system error
If a warning error occurs in the media feeding system during printing, a warning message is displayed.
Check the status of the media feeding system, and then release the warning and restart printing.
Releasing method of warning when “!BELT ENCODER” is displayed
When the warning of belt encoder is
displayed

Press
on the Tx400 operation panel.

Check that the operation touch panel of the
media feeding system is [AUTOMATIC] [BELT
ON].
• Check that the display of the operation touch panel is as
the right figure.
• If it is not, the belt will not operate at printing.
• If it is not, press [BELT OFF] and [MANUAL] to switch
them to [BELT ON]/[AUTOMATIC]. The button will change
from yellow to green.
• When you switch the operation touch panel to [BELT ON]/
[AUTOMATIC], they are automatically switched to [FEED
ON]/[TAKE-UP ON].

Press the
key on the operation panel to
display the local screen.

Press the
key to restart printing.
• When a warning error occurs in the media feeding system, [WARNINGS] on the operation touch
panel lights in red and the warning below is displayed on the Tx400 screen.
• Depending on the status, [WARNINGS] on the operation touch panel may switch to green even if the
status with error continues.
• If printing is terminated, be sure to check the screen of Tx400. If the warning below is displayed,
release the warning by referring to “Warning list” in P.5-17.
