Insert the pipe adapter of the ink port
discharging jig into the coupling valve of the ink
port.

Check the ink is extruded by 20cm or more in the tube of the ink discharge tool.

Remove the pipe adapter from the coupling valve
of the ink port.
• Wipe the removed pipe adapter with waste cloth etc.
immersed in cleaning liquid for maintenance to remove
ink blot etc.

Insert the pipe adapter into the cleaning liquid bottle and wash the tube of the ink
port discharging jig.
• When you insert the pipe adapter into the cleaning liquid bottle, cleaning liquid in the bottle is absorbed
up and the tube of the ink port discharging jig is washed.
• While taking out and putting in the pipe adapter, hold the joint of the ink port with your
fingers. Otherwise, the ink port may break and ink may leak.
• Check that no loose exists on the nut of the coupling valve. If
the nut is loosened, air will get mixed in the ink port and it
cannot discharge ink properly.
• Once the pipe adapter is put in, the cleaning solution continues to flow from the ink port.
While the tool is set, do not look away or go away from the tool. Otherwise, the cleaning
solution may be discharged too much.
• When you remove the pipe adapter, be sure to wash it with cleaning liquid for maintenance.
If the adapter to which ink adheres may be attached to the other ink port, it may cause
mixed of ink colors.
