Check that the media is not set slanted from the
media roll ends, the centering sensor, the
tension bar and the pressure roller.
• If the media is set slanted, adjust the slanted part by moving the media right and left.
• If it is hard to move the media, lift the tension bar slightly. Releasing the tension makes the work easier.
• If you set the media of maximum width (1860mm), be careful about it including confliction with the belt
encoder. Even if you move the media, misalignment cannot be corrected in some cases. Therefore,
perform adjustment of the centering position etc. to prevent the media from slanted setting.

Return the safety pins to the original
position.

Press the [PRESSURE CYLINDER] DOWN (
)
switch to move the pressure roller down.
• Rotate the adjusting dial to adjust the pressure of the
pressure roller (refer to the table below).
• Check the air pressure gauge located under the control
and adjust the pressure depending on the media to be
used.
• Depending on the kind of the media to be used, pre-
treatment and adhesive status, pressure adjustment is
required in some cases. For reference, for stretch
material, make the pressure lighter, and for non-stretch
material, make the pressure stronger.
• After printing starts, also check the peeling status of the fabric on
the take-up side of this machine to fine adjust the pressure.
• When you wish to set the media of
maximum width (1860mm), set it on the
position where it does not conflict with
the belt encoder. If the media may be
caught in the belt encoder, normal
printing cannot be performed.

Air pressure goes down.
• The pressure roller is a heavy roller.
• Before you move the pressure roller down, check that no one is near it.
• It is very dangerous if your hand etc. is wedged by the pressure roller as there is the danger
of injury.
See from the rear side of the machine and
check that the media is set straight.
