Turning the Power ON/OFF

Turning the Power ON

Turn ON the power of the connected PC.

Turn the power switch ON.

• Move the power switch to the [ I ] side.

Turn ON the power switch of the media feeding system
side.

• When you rotate the power lever switch to the [ON] side,

the power supply becomes ON.

• If you wish to turn the power supply ON, be sure to close

the front cover. If the front cover is open, the operation does
not start even if you turn the power supply ON.

• When the power is turned on, the firmware version is

displayed following [BOOT].

• The message "PLEASE WAIT" appears on the LCD.

• The screen turns to the media selecting.

Turn ON the power supply of the media feeding
system side.

• Press the [RESET ALARM] button on the operation panel

(front).

• When you press the [RESET ALARM] button, the

operation touch panel is displayed and beep sounds.
However, this is not an abnormal status.
