If negative pressure abnormality occurs
By the environment or aging, the pressure controlled in this machine may exceed the control range.
The error display occurred by pressure abnormality falls into two types depending on the extent.

Select [Pressure Adjust] of the maintenance menu.
(1) Press the key.
(2) Press to select [MAINTENANCE] and press the key.
(3) Press to select [Pressure Adjust].

Rotate the adjustment screw of the throttle valve to release it so that air can flow.
• The throttle valve is located on the right side of the ink supply unit. Rotate it until the adjustment screw of
the throttle valve comes to the middle position.

Press the key.
• Sensor adjustment starts.

*1. Displays on the firmware version 1.40 or later.
Displays when the pressure is likely to exceed the controlled range.
When the screen shown on the left is displayed, the pressure is in the
controlled range. You can print or perform cleaning normally.
However, if it is left for a while, it may exceed the controlled range, and
the screen shown as (2) may be displayed.
(2)
The pressure has exceeded the controlled range.
Printing or cleaning cannot be performed.
• When error display of (1) appears, immediately adjust the pressure as the following procedures to
reset to the normal value.
• The negative pressure can be adjusted even during a pause of printing.
