When nozzles missing can not be improved
NOZZLE RECOVERY: When nozzles missing can not be improved at specific points, other good nozzles can
be used as alternatives for printing.
You can set each item below for the nozzle recovery.
Register setting/ deletion of the nozzle recovery function
You can set/ delete the nozzle to recover. Print the test pattern and specify the nozzle recovery.
Registering nozzle recovery function
The head of this machine consists of nozzles as
the right figure.
You can set the recovery by specifying the
nozzle line (1 to 8) each for the Line A, the Line
B and the Line C.

Select [Nozzle Recovery] of the maintenance menu.
(1) Press the key.
(2) Press to select [MAINTENANCE] and press the key.
(3) Press to select [Nozzle Recovery].

Press the key twice.

Press to select “Print”.
• When you choose “Print”, the screen moves to the origin
setting screen automatically.

Press to select origin position.

Press the key.
Set Item Overview
Regist. You can set/ delete the nozzle to recover. Print the test pattern and specify the nozzle recovery.
Recovery You can set valid/ invalid of the nozzle recovery function by the nozzle line.
Check
You can check valid/ invalid of the nozzle recovery function by the resolution.
The checking result is displayed on the screen.
List
You can check the nozzle on which the nozzle recovery was set and can check whether the setting is
available for recovery.
