FAN 1 CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH
COOLING FAN LOW SPEED
The cooling fans are controlled by EMS ECU . Both the fans run either at low speed or at high speed. The
low speed of the cooling fans are controlled by pressure switch relay . Based on the coolant temperature
the EMS ECU controls the pressure switch relay to activate the low speed of the fans. Fans are ON at low
speed if the coolant temperature reaches 99 °C
.
DTC INFORMATION
PROBABLE CAUSES OF FAILURE
NORMAL OPERATION
Ignition ON
Depending upon the coolant temperature , the EMS ECU
controls the low speed cooling fan
No malfunction detected by EMS ECU in the control circuit
of pressure switch relay
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
Ignition ON
EMS ECU supply voltage 8-16V
Short circuit to battery is detected in in the control circuit
of pressure switch relay
DTC REACTIONS
Low speed of the fans will not work based on coolant
temperature
However fans willl work at low speed based on AC pressure
HEALING CONDITION
