Refer the intermittent problem 
inspection procedure

Ignition OFF
Neutral switch wiring harness  
connector (C349) 
DISCONNECTED

Check the continuity between 
switch pin1 and pin 2 of the gear 
neutral switch  in neutral 
position and in gear position

Is there a change in  

continuity ?

Examine the short circuit /open 
in the gear neutral sensor wiring 
harness
Replace the wiring harness
Clear the DTC and verify

Suspect Gear neutral sensor 
malfunction 
Replace Gear neutral sensor  
with a new one.
