FAN 2 CONTROL CIRCUIT
COOLING FAN HIGH SPEED
The cooling fans are controlled by EMS ECU . Both the fans run either at low speed or at high speed. The
high speed of the cooling fans are controlled by change over relay and cooling fan relay 2 . Based on the
coolant temperature the EMS ECU controls the by change over relay and cooling fan relay 2 to activate
the high speed of the fans. Fans are ON at high speed if the coolant temperature reaches 102 °C
.
DTC INFORMATION
PROBABLE CAUSES OF FAILURE
NORMAL OPERATION
Ignition ON
Depending upon the coolant temperature , the EMS ECU
switches ON the high speed cooling fan
No malfunction detected by EMS ECU in the control circuit
of change over relay and cooling fan relay 2
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
Ignition ON
EMS ECU supply voltage 8-16V
Open circuit is detected in in the control circuit of change
over relay and cooling fan relay 2
DTC REACTIONS
Fans will not work at high speed
