Connect the smart tester
Turn the ignition ON
Initialise the diagnostic tool
Record the DTC and clear
Turn ignition OFF
Turn ignition ON
Verify if P0101 or P1101 is
present?
Is P0101 or P1101
present?
Check and rectify if leakage is
noticed in the air intake system
Clean the HFM sensor as per
the procedure mentioned in
repair manual
Clear the DTC and verify
If the DTC still exists , replace
the HFM sensor with a new one
Intermittent problem exists
Refer the intermittent problem
inspection procedure
