Connect the smart tester
Turn the ignition  ON
Initialise the diagnostic tool
Record the DTC and clear
Turn ignition  OFF
Turn ignition ON
Verify if   P06A0 is present?

Is  P06A0 present?

Intermittent problem exists
Refer the intermittent problem 
inspection procedure

STEP 2

Ignition OFF

Ensure the compressor relay is 
fixed properly in the connector 
of the ECU   fuse box
Remove the  AC compressor  
relay
Check the functioning of relay by 
providing 12V  to terminal 86 
and ground to terminal 85

Is a  clicking sound 

heard?

Replace the AC compressor  
relay with a new one
Clear the DTC and verify

Is the value = Vbat?

Ignition OFF
Remove the AC compressor  
relay 
Check the proper functioning of 
10 A fuse (F38)  and 10 A fuse 
(F16)
Ignition ON

Check the voltage   between pin 
5  of the AC compressor relay 
seating (C107) and battery 
ground
Check the voltage   between pin 
3  of the AC compressor relay 
seating (C107) and battery 
ground

Examine the open/short  circuit 
of AC compressor relay power 
wire from EMS  main relay and 
from ignition switch
 Replace the wiring harness
