Installing Wheels
CAUTION
When installing wheel, be sure to match countersunk
holes with bolt head profiles.
Holes that are not
countersunk do NOT correctly seat the bolts.
1. Position wheel on spindle,
install bolts,
and
partially tighten.
IMPORTANT:
Be sure valve stem points away from
wheel support.
2. Remove blocks or stand and lower jack until tire
contacts the ground.
3. Torque bolts to 120 ft
·
lbf (160 N
·
m) following the
tightening sequence shown.
4. Lower jack completely and remove from work area.

Inflating Tires
Check tire pressure daily. Maintain pressure at 30 psi (207 kPa) for
fi
eld wheels and 80 psi (552 kPa) for optional
transport system wheels.
WARNING
• Service tires safely.
• A tire can explode during inflation which could
cause serious injury or death.
