8. Use a pin punch and hammer to install one shear
pin (A) so that the outermost end is
fl
ush with hub
landing (B).
IMPORTANT:
Proper shear pin orientation during installation
is critical. Shear pin grooves must be facing
the same direction and oriented on a horizontal
plane parallel to the cutterbar.
9. Repeat procedure for opposite side.

10. Install two M10 bolts (A) and washers. Torque to
40 ft

lbf (55 N
·
m).
NOTE:
Inspect bolt threads and replace if damaged.
