Detects the HP of the
justi
fi cation mecha-
nism.
1) Open the front cover, and tilt the Transport Unit using
handle.
2) Remove a fi xing screw, and remove the sensor.
3) Unplug a connector.

2 Justi fi cation Sen-
sor-L (S3)
Detects the left end
when justifying. 1) Open the front cover, and tilt the Transport Unit using
handle.
2) Bring the justi fi cation mechanism to the center by hand.
3) Remove a fi xing screw, and remove the justi fi cation
sensor mount plate.
4) Remove the sensor from the justi fi cation sensor mount
plate.
5) Unplug a connector.

sor-R (S4)
Detects the right end
when justifying. 1) Open the front cover, and tilt the Transport Unit using
handle.
2) Bring the justi fi cation mechanism to the center by hand.
3) Remove a fi xing screw, and remove the justi fi cation
sensor mount plate.
4) Remove the sensor from the justi fi cation sensor mount
plate.
5) Unplug a connector.
