Replacement of the Justi

cation Motor (PM2)
Caution To protect from burning, do not touch the justi
fi
-
cation motor immediately after it stops.
1.
Open the front door.
2.
Remove the right cover. (Refer to "Removal of the Left &
Right Covers, p.29")
3.
Remove the insertion / ejection unit. (Refer to "Removal of
the Insertion/Ejection Unit, p.37")
4.
Use the handle to tilt the Transport Unit.
5.
Remove two
fi
xing screws "a", and detach the cover for jus-
ti
fi
cation motor.
6.
Uncouple the connector from the justi
fi
cation motor.

7.
Remove two
fi
xing screws, and remove the justi
fi
cation
motor.
8.
Remove two
fi
xing screws, and dismount the justi
fi
cation
motor from the motor bracket.
9.
Carry out reassembly in the reverse order to that described
above.
•
Using a torque driver, tighten the drive pulley at the force
of 0.6N•cm (6kgf•cm).
