3 .4 .3 ELCA Box - Electronic Control

The ELCA box is secured by an
electronic access control system.
If the ELCA box is opened the
system will be locked. Projecting
of encrypted content is not pos-
sible any more.
Using a Dallas key and a pin
code (arrow, on the projector’s
operating side) the projector can
be made operable again.
3 .4 .4 Fans
The projector head is equipped with several fans:
• 2 fans to cool the lamphouse (arrows, left upper figure on the next page)
• 1 radial fan to cool the xenon bulb and the lamphouse (arrow, right upper figure on
the next page)
• 1 exhaust fan on the top of the lamphouse which leads away the warm air from the
housing (arrow, left lower figure on the next page)

NOTE
The warm air from the lamphouse should be absorbed by the funnel of the exhaust
system of the projection room. If the warm air is exhausted directly into a tube, then
assure that the system reaches an exhausting power of at least 800 m
3
/h.
