Protection against Pirate Copies
Before coded digital film copies can be projected with the projector, the distributor has
to send a key. This key recognizes the projector certification, which is located on a web
portal. During installation or after changing the interface board the certification file must
be uploaded.
If the electronics box is opened or the light engine is removed the projector indicates a
security error. The result is you are not able to project protected films. Via a hardware
key and a code the Kinoton service person can re-activate the system.

Modification of Projector Construction
No alterations, additions or modifications may be made to a projector without written
consent of KINOTON. This includes welding of load bearing parts.
Only use original spare and wear parts. Parts obtained from third party manufacturers
cannot guarantee strength and safety standards.
