Function and Description
The projector DCP 30 SX/LX is primarily suitable to project digital cinema films.
• The
DCP 30 LX
projector is equipped with
- a KEX 170 rectifier
- a
Ø
340 mm main reflector
- a correction lens with mounted UV filter
and operates with xenon lamps up to 7,000 W.
• The
DCP 30 SX
projector is equipped with
- a KEX 110 rectifier
- a
Ø
320 mm main reflector
- a UV filter
and operates with xenon lamps up to 3,000 W.
• The projector head is equipped with 2K DLP Cinema
®
technology (TI).
Each of the three DLP
®
chip has a resolution of 2048 x 1080 Pixels.
• The projector head contains the DLP Cinema
®
light engine, the xenon unit (two ver-
sions: DCP 30 SX or DCP 30 LX) and the electronic control box.
• The lamphouse is power supplied (DC) by an external rectifier (KEX 110 G for
DCP 30 SX and KEX 170 G for DCP 30 LX).
• The DCP 30 LX version has the Light Engine cooled by an external water cooling
system (KWK-DCP).
• The button panel can be placed on the right or on the back side of the projector head.
• The projector can be controlled by a touch panel PC (option) or via the Communica-
tor software on an external PC.
• The digital cinema projector can operate with different D-Cinema servers and with all
common Kinoton automation systems.

Encrypted link between server and projector, watermarking and
fingerprinting.
CineBlackTM Contrast Management
Dark, stable blacks with smooth tonal scale between deepest blacks and
purest whites.
