몇
Warning
Danger of injury by freezing. By freezing
shuts down the equipment, in order to
avoid danger of injury.
Note
The following functions are guaranteed:
–
Unlimited washing operation with the
high pressure spray lance
up to -
15°C.
–
Restricted washing operation with the
washing brush
at temperatures below
0°C.
During restricted washing operations,
all washing brushes need to be
checked regularly for ice-formation.
Foam wash with frozen washing brush-
es can damage the vehicle. Take the
following steps if there is ice-formation
on the brushes:
Single tool version:
Replace combi-
spray pipe with high-pressure spray
pipe.
Double tool version (Option):
Do not
use foam wash (for e.g. according to
user instructions).
At termperatures below -15°C it does
not make sense to wash the vehicle as
a layer of ice is formed on it. This layer
of ice can even hamper some important
parts of the vehicle in their functioning.
Hence prevent use of the system at
temperatures below -15°C by switching
on the night operations lock.
–
The system is frost-safe up to -20°C.
The system must be shut down at tem-
peratures below -20°C according to the
instructions in "Shutdown under Frost
Conditions".
Note
The pre-requisites for frost protection are:
–
The main switch must be in position 1.
–
The doors of the plant room must be
closed.
–
Uninterrupted power, water and fuel
supply must be ensured.
–
Fuel and water supply must be protect-
ed against freezing.
–
Set-up and installation take place in ac-
cordance with the separate installation
manual.
–
All maintenance steps according to
"Maintenance and Care" have been
carried out correctly.
–
All cleaning tools are placed back in the
storage compartment.
–
The hand-spray guns belonging to the
system have been installed with the
anti-freeze hole.
This frost protection system is activated by
the control if there is a risk of frost.
Fresh water flows through the high pres-
sure lines and hand spray guns, and these
are thus protected from freezing.
The emergency frost protection is activated
in case of a power outage.
Fresh water flows through the high pres-
sure lines and hand spray guns, and these

Note
The washing place heating can function
properly provided the washing area has
been built properly according to the
KÄRCHER recommendations.
Snow layers and large volumes of ice piec-
es fallen from the vehicles need high
amount of heating. It is necessary to first re-
move these deposits.
