Editing languages
The following figure shows the source language text on the left and the target
language text on the right. "Source language" dropdown list: Selection of the
language in the left column. This language cannot be edited. "Target language"
drop-down list: Selection of the language in the right column. Editing possible
only in this column.
Texts displayed in red characters on a white background have not yet been ed-
ited (equivalent to not translated). The other forms of display are listed below in
the "Toolbar" section. To change a text, it is only necessary to left-click once in
the text field. The selected field is then displayed with a black frame. If the text
has been changed, it appears in black characters on a white background upon
leaving the field. The text is then considered edited (translated).
NOTE!
Standard languages cannot be edited.
Only languages created by the user can be edited with the JUMO PC setup
program.

NOTE!
Static texts, e. g. the names of parameters that are too long to be displayed on
the screen of the device, are automatically shortened in the menus ("..."). How-
ever, in the dialog window for setting the parameter concerned, the text is dis-
played in its full length. Texts should generally be kept as short and clear as
possible. Longer texts that appear in the same menu should already differ at
the beginning of the text.
