Cleaning Process
• Before you start cleaning the touchscreen monitor, shut down the system.
• Use the recommended microfiber cleaning cloth to wipe the unit clean.
• If needed, apply one of the recommended cleaning solutions directly to the cleaning cloth,
then use the cloth and cleaning solution in combination to further wipe the unit clean.
• Avoid getting liquids inside the unit as this may damage the unit and void manufacturer
warranty.
• Never spray cleaning solutions directly on the unit.
General Cleaning (Console, Foot Pedal, Remote Control)
At the end of the surgical day, thoroughly wipe down the system, remote control, IV pole,
and foot pedal using a cloth dampened with a disinfectant cleaner.
NOTE: Do not clean the console, foot pedal, mayo tray, or accessories using solvents,
abrasives, or any disinfectant cleaner that is not compatible with plastic parts made
of LEXAN EXL 9112 and Eastman Tritan MXF.
NOTE: Be careful not to saturate any part of the system, remote control, or foot pedal with
liquid. Excessive liquid can damage the system electronics.
