Program Settings
Assign Program Order
1.
Select a program on the list.
2. Use
or
to move the program names up or down on the list.
NOTE: Assign Program Order is also used to select your preferred program. By moving a
program to the top of the list, that program becomes your default or preferred
program.
Program Settings
Program settings are used to define specific settings on the VERITAS
™
Vision System. There
are four major surgical modes:

Phaco (see
•
Irrigation and Aspiration (I/A) (see
“Irrigation and Aspiration (I/A)” on page 6-9
•
Vitrectomy (VIT) (see
“Vitrectomy (VIT)” on page 6-10
•
Diathermy (DIA) (see
“Diathermy (DIA)” on page 6-11
For each major mode, there are multiple submodes available that may be customized for
each step in the procedure. The modes and submodes are selected by tapping their buttons
on the left of the Settings screen (see
).
Program settings include the following:

Advanced Infusion
: If this checkbox is checked (enabled), program settings are
customized to use the VERITAS Advanced Infusion Tubing Pack VRT-AI. If Advanced
Infusion is disabled, program settings are customized to support tubing packs using
gravity-based infusion only (VERITAS Advanced Fluidics Tubing Pack VRT-AF or FUSION
™
Dual Pump Tubing Pack OPO73). See

•
Save
: Saves the program with the current settings.
•
Save As
: Saves the program changes with a custom name or a name from the Standard
Name list for any surgeon other than Standard Surgeon (see
•
Restore Program
: Restores all changes made to the current program to what it was
previously saved as.
All or some of the submodes within each of the major modes are programmable. Submode
names are preset with Standard Names but may be renamed by tapping on the submode
name near the top of the Settings screen (see
). You can select from the Standard
Name list or enter a custom name.
