INSTALLATION OF THE FRIGOSCANDIA
FRIGOBELT
®
CONVEYOR
This document together with drawings describes a safe and
easy way to install FRIGoBELT Conveyor in a
Frigoscandia GYRoCOMPACT
®
equipment with a
FRIGoDRIVE
®
or a FRIGoDRIVE M System
Warning
Handle the conveyor belt carefully. The
conveyor belt can easily be damaged.
Warning
Be careful and alert in order to avoid getting
caught by the conveyor belt when running it.
Clothing’s, fingers and other parts of the body
can easily get caught in the conveyor belt
causing serious body injury.
Installation
1. Adjust the transfer area.
Refer to installation instruction “Transfer area control”

2. Carefully pull the first piece of conveyor belt onto the infeed
rails.
3. Make final adjustments to the infeed rails.
4. Fit the Curve loader

in place.
Refer to installation instruction “Curve loader”

Note!
Mounting and all adjustments of the Curve loader
1)
must be
done directly after the infeed rail geometry is adjusted. Ignoring
this recommendation will make it almost impossible to adjust
the Curve loader later on in the installation process.
5. Splice the second piece of the conveyor belt to the first and
weld the rod to the links.
Refer to Manual sheet “Adjusting the conveyor belt length”

6. Install the conveyor belt, as far as possible (see point 7),
onto the drive chains, without running the drive system. Do
as follows:
• One person, standing in front of the belt, pulls the conveyor
belt on top of the chains. At the same time make sure the
conveyor belt is pushed against the z-clip of the inner chain.
