21. Do a second, finer, check of the ballrails.
Use you thumb to feel all the joints of the
rails. If there are any joints that can stop the
balls, grind them gently with a grindstone
and check the joint again, using a ball.
22. Install the wear strips. Lock the screws with
LocTite 243.
23. Fine-polish the rails with the polish wheel.
Make sure that there are no sharp edges on
the small M6 holes.
Notes on the steelworks
Note!
Make sure that the ballrails are correctly ad-
justed, before you adjust the infeed rails. Refer
to the drawing “check list” for the actual freezer
and to service info 12-05-162.
Note!
Do a check of the outer ball chain tensioner’s
freedom of movement, if you have adjusted the
ballrails at the outer transfer point.
Fan driven by-pass air balance
tunnel
Function
The air balance tunnel creates air curtains that
prevents air from blowing out or in through the
openings. The air curtains also prevents the
products from moving while they are inside the
tunnel.
The air flow in the tunnel is created by a fan
which is controlled by a frequency converter.
The speed of the rotation of the motor can be
adjusted from the control panel.
Adjustments
Make sure that the fan wheel rotates in the
correct direction.
Refer to illustration 5.
Check if there is an air flow through the infeed
or outfeed by attaching plastic strips over the
outfeed.
Refer to illustration 6.
Adjust the fan until there is no air flow through
the opening.
