INSTALLATION

Twin Stack – Conveyor Belt Tension Adjustment

If required there are some ways to increase or decrease the

conveyor belt tension.

Adjusting Ascending Stack Tension (A):

•

To increase the conveyor belt tension, replace the return rail

rollers with glide strips or add weights to the conveyor belt

take-up

•

To decrease the conveyor belt tension, replace the return

rail glide strips with rollers or remove weights from the con-

veyor belt take-up

Adjusting Ascending Stack Tension (B):

•

To increase the conveyor belt tension, strain the bridge

spring alternatively add weights to the bridge.

•

To decrease the conveyor belt tension, loosen the bridge

spring alternatively remove weights from the bridge.

Adjusting Outfeed Tension (C):

•

To increase the conveyor belt tension, decrease the drive

ring diameter or increase the force provided by the outfeed

drive unit

•

To decrease the conveyor belt tension, increase the drive

ring diameter or decrease the force provided by the outfeed

drive unit
